Story

Envi Salon approached Cloud 9 to transform their emailing solution by shifting from Gmail to Microsoft 365 to increase efficiency and collaboration in real-time with teamwork tools that are always up to date. They were looking for better emailing features and collaboration internally and externally for their 90+ users. They needed security-related policies like sign-in risk users, Multi-Factor authentication, and allowing specific email ID’s to access emails from compliant company devices only. Also, they had the requirement of conditional access for a few employees.

Envi Salon was looking for a security feature so that when users’ mobile devices get stolen or any employee leaves the organization, the data from the device should wipe out. This was a security feature that the customer preferred to use along with MFA to keep data safe.

Challenge 

Envi Salon had massive data stored in several mailboxes, which made it difficult to migrate from the existing platform. Also, they could not achieve secure features from their current G-suite solution. Envi Salon also aimed to embrace a collaborative solution along with security. This is why data migration became the most challenging thing for them. Moreover, setting up a dedicated IT team costs those huge bucks and time.

Solution 

We at Cloud9 Infosystems, as usual, did the groundwork by thoroughly analyzing their current situation and coming up with an all-in-one solution. We implemented various Cloud 9 IP configurations to control the access to the mailbox for the users with customized URLs and easily access the mailbox.

Our team used the Gsuite Migration tool to perform a seamless migration for all types of data in the mailbox, such as calendars, contact, and more. As Envi Salon emphasized security measures, we configured their platform from “end-point protection policies.” We were able to ensure the complete safeguard of all the data through the Envi branches. Cloud 9 used the proprietary IP (Scripts) to validate and help during the data migration.
