Managing a team of cloud engineers, working on provisioning, de-provisioning, resolving support tickets, and customer support.
Must understand the technical components of client-server relationships and strong experience in managing tough customer conversations.
Hands-on experience with a minimum 2 Public Cloud environments like AWS, Azure.
Ability to manage multiple projects/programs and influence cross-functional contributors
Clear and concise written and verbal communications skills; ability to communicate with stakeholders effectively
Analytical ability to establish baselines and deviation from baselines in a clear manner
Manage and coordinate day to day activities of the Cloud Infrastructure and Support Team.
Support management of colocation of AWS / Azure environments, and automation platforms to ensure operational excellence.
Provide guidance for resource management and operations coverage for 24×7 infrastructure hosting.
Guide engineers in developing and managing infrastructure resources in a cloud environment.
Support continued refinement and expansion of infrastructure health monitoring and incident response.
Understand and continuously recommend improvements to Cloud Operations processes, documentation, and tools.
Obtain and keep up to date the organizational and technical knowledge required to perform the role.
Requirements
This role requires a seasoned, skilled, independent, self-motivated, and smart leader, who is experienced with 24×7 mission-critical cloud infrastructure, operations, processes, tools, and best practices.
The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact and work with staff and leadership at all levels, in person as well as over email, phone, and video. The selected candidate will have a proven ability to lead, facilitate, and motivate teams.
5+ years of experience in Cloud Operations in AWS/Azure.
Significant practical experience managing or supporting large-scale on-prem and public cloud infrastructure, including AWS/Azure.
A University graduate with a relevant degree within a computing discipline.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Technical consultant the candidate is expected to have in-depth knowledge on Public Cloud (Azure).
Evaluation of cloud deployment models like for e.g. IaaS vs PaaS vs SaaS and recommending the most suitable model.
Good understanding of assessment methodologies.
Manage Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Intune Setup/ Deployment.
Proficiency with Azure Cloud solutions and concepts.
Excellent experience on Peer to Peer Networking.
Excellent experience on Migration on Azure platform.
Design and build infrastructure (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) offering.
Strong knowledge of MS Azure products and Cloud services.
Strong Knowledge on Data storage, Virtual Machines and Back ups.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Computer science, Information Technology.
Minimum 3 Years of experience in Azure Infrastructure.
2+years of Extensive Experience on IaaS vs PaaS vs SaaS Services.
Experience with Azure, Azure AD.
Proficiency with Azure Cloud solutions and concepts.
Thorough understanding of Microsoft applications/infrastructure.
Certified Az-900,Az-103 Will be an added advantage.
